If you still use a modem, and use a telephone via the Internet, WhoCalls will help you a lot. It is a program that recognizes and identifies calls received via the modem.



CID, or Caller ID, is a service that shows the number of the caller. This happens during the call establishment, while you listen to the tone ringing, and always before the person answers. This way the person who receives the call always knows who´s calling.



This service is purely informative, it doesn´t do anything else. WhoCalls also deosn´t block the modem in any way, and you can still continue connected to the network, for example, or call someone else.



Minimum requirements: to use this program you need to subscribe to CallerID services from your telephone company. Your modem must be compatible with this service. If you register in WhoCalls you also get free future updates.
